Odie Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

Welcome to Odie! These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of the Odie mobile application and related services (Services). By accessing or using Odie, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Odie. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Notify us of any unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use Odie only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract source code.
  • Use the app for harmful, abusive, or illegal activities.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription purchases and billing are managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and handled via RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information.

All billing, cancellations, and refunds follow the policies of the respective app store.

If your subscription expires or is canceled, access to premium features will be revoked.

6. User Content

User Content includes your:

  • Voice recordings
  • Transcriptions
  • Cleaned-up notes

You retain full ownership of your content.

By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your recordings for transcription and cleanup (via OpenAI). We do not sell or share your content, and it is stored securely in our database.

7. Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous analytics about in-app actions. This helps us improve Odie. No personally identifiable information is shared.

8. AI Services

Odie uses OpenAI to process transcriptions, summaries, and cleanups. Your content is only used to generate results and is never used to train external AI models.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the Services if you violate these Terms or use the app in an abusive or harmful manner.
